Choo Choo! Stepping out from under the rain clouds that came this week Chip and I took a spontaneous trip to visit Harper's Ferry today. When we arrived I promptly guided us to the Visitor's Center where we used our National Park Service Passports for the first time! We each earned our first stamps in the Mid-Atlantic Region and (one of us) are anxiously awaiting the next time we can stamp them. From the center we traveled back in time visiting the historic town nestled in the Shenandoah Valley. We viewed old buildings, the bakery, hat maker, blacksmith and many others. Before leaving town we made sure to ponder which ice cream shop to stop in and we are sure Miss Swiss was the right choice. I had Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Columbian Coffee. Can you guess what Chip ordered?
